Abstract

The effect of supplying of winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) plants by nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium on the main stem structure and plant productivity was studied for cultivars ‘Mironivska 808’ and ‘Smuglyanka’. It was shown that increased mineral nutrition causes increasing stem and central xylem vessels diameter on average of 1 mm. Increased plant productivity was supported by increasing grains quantity per ear and mass of 1000 grains.
